Hi, Welcome to my gallery!

I am a Romanian-Australian photographer, currently residing in Perth. Over the past five years, I have immersed myself in the world of photography, transforming a lifelong passion into an artistic journey. My work primarily focuses on macro and close-up photography, allowing me to capture the intricate beauty of the natural world. While I thrive in open spaces away from the hustle of the city, I also find inspiration in urban environments, where I explore the emotional narratives of architecture and fleeting human moments.

Photography has become more than just a craft for me; it’s a reflection of how I perceive the world. Each image I create encapsulates the emotions I experience in the moment, offering viewers a glimpse into my unique perspective. I am especially attracted to photographing raindrops; there’s a serene beauty in capturing a freshly washed world. For me, these moments provide a sense of peace and connection to nature.

My journey into photography coincided with a pivotal phase in my life. After navigating several years of grief and mild depression, coupled with the challenges of relocating from Romania to Australia, I embarked on a transformative journey of self-discovery. This entailed a deliberate break from societal expectations and career pressures, allowing me to immerse myself in nature. Spending a lot of time on almost daily basis in parks around my area, I began to find solace and healing through my lens, leading to a renewed commitment to my craft.

In 2024, I was honoured to have seven of my images exhibited in the Spring in The Hills Competition, organized by the Kalamunda Photography Club. I aspire to inspire others by showcasing the subtle beauty that surrounds us, often found within walking distance from our homes.
